NCRA TOP TEN

The NCRA Top Ten issues are subject to change, as new members join and their scores are averaged in with the total.

Socialized MedicineWe oppose all attempts to socialize our health care system.

Border Security. We support a zero tolerance for illegal border crossings. Make illegal border crossing a felony offence. We believe that border security is a National Defense issue rather than an Immigration issue.

War On Terror.We support a consistent, proactive and aggressive assault on global terrorism.

Strong Military. We support increasing the size and effectiveness of our military.

Reduce Spending. We support restoring fiscal responsibility to federal spending and ending the use of “ear marks”.

Illegal Immigration.We support ending all entitlements to illegal immigrants, enforcing our existing immigration laws, prosecuting employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants and encouraging illegal immigrants to self deport.

Reduce Taxes.We support reduced taxes, leading to an increase in revenue through economic growth.

Redistribution of Wealth.We oppose all efforts to “spread the wealth” through redistribution of income and wealth.

Abortion. We believe that life begins at conception and strongly oppose abortion.

Government Bailouts.We oppose bailing out failed businesses. We support allowing the market to self correct.


Other Issues Not Making The top Ten:

11. Cap and Trade. We reject the unproven theory of Global Warming/Climate Change and we oppose “Cap and Trade” legislation, attempting to tax and regulate us based on this theory.
12. Balanced Budget. All departments, agencies and programs must remain within their budgets.
13. Traditional Marriage.We support marriage between a natural man and a natural woman, only.
14. Socialism. We oppose all attempts to transform our economic system from Capitalism to Socialism.
15.Fair Tax. We support a transition from income tax to a national sales tax (Fair Tax), eliminating the IRS.
16. Gun Control. We treasure our right to bear arms and oppose all attempts to diminish that right.
17. Term Limits. We support limiting congressional representatives and senators to two terms, eliminating the “career politician”.
18. Birthright Citizenship.We support amending the 14th Amendment, Citizenship Clause, granting US citizenship to babies born in the US, to non-citizens. Replace current policy (jus soli) with citizenship granted to babies born to at least one parent who is a US citizen (jus sanguinis).
19.Official Language.We support establishing English as the official language of the United States of America to be spoken in public schools, government offices and all public institutions.
20.Legal Immigration Reform. We support adopting a streamlined process for legal immigration, including a tamper proof ID for legal immigrants.
21.Fairness Doctrine. We oppose the attempt to limit and restrict our political speech under the name of the, so called, Fairness Doctrine or any other name.
22. Flat Tax.We support a transition from the progressive income tax to a “flat rate” income tax, with all workers paying one lower rate.
23. Embryonic Stem Cell Research.We oppose federally funded embryonic stem cell research.
24. Card Check. We support the use of a secret ballot among workers to determine whether or not a company is to be unionized. We oppose any form of public declaration by workers, in the hearing or site of others.

Please suggest any current issues that you feel should be included with our choices for the Top Ten, remembering that this is a national organization and, for now, local and state issues do not apply. (Members Only)
